This time we have some major changes in program. We will have three 2-day masterclasses worked out for novice paddlers, intermediate paddlers and for guides. The aim of having 3 masterclasses for different skill levels, is to assure that people with similar level of skills will get more individualized coaching based on participants real needs. All masterclasses are based on BCU syllabuses, so for novice and intermediate paddlers it should be possible to attend to BCU2* and BCU3*Sea assesments. Guides masterclass is actually limited version of BCU4*SeaLeader syllabus concentrating more on leadership skills and incident management.
Island of Hiiumaa is oldest of estonian islands - some claim it's dating back to 455 miljon years, but for sure Hiiumaa is the highest, having world oldest working lighthouse, the most famous surfwaves in Baltic sea and humour so tricky that for foreigner it's impossible to tell where true story ends and joke starts ...
The aim of the gathering is to provide opportunity for local paddling scene to meet each other face to face, become friends and keep paddling together through the year. Another important aims are to introduce beginners to the sport, demo boats, paddles and equipment, and contribute to overall safety of being on water.
This time we have guest coaches from UK and Finland.
Participation fee 60,- € per person, 10.- € per person not participating in official program.
Price includes common meal on saturday evening.
